What to expect during COVID-19.

Being a Baby Photographer in Bergen County NJ where it was the epicenter of COVID-19, I had many clients that weren’t sure if they were ready for a newborn session.    Only you can decide what works for your family, but I can assure you that preparing for a  newborn session with me  is simple and safe. I’ve had  three children myself, so I know first-hand what you’re experiencing. My goal as a baby photographer is to capture your new life as it’s unfolding, every part of it. And I promise – whether you prepare or not – the images will be lovely and become lifelong treasures.

Newborn sessions always take place in my studio located in Franklin Lakes, NJ. A baby session will usually last about 1-1.5 hours. Really depending on the baby.

Here is what to expect at a baby photography session during COVID-19.

What are some of the safety precautions you are taking?

We have been following the CDC guidelines and I only book one family at a time as well as sanitizing the studio before and after each use. I will be wearing gloves and mask during the while process.

Keep the temperature in the studio warm

This is important for the baby to stay nice and warm for a smooth session.

Think ahead about personal items you might like to include ,

Such as a knitted blanket, hat, or a special doll.  I love to incorporate items from the family or the home as they make the images much more personal.

Relax and be yourselves.

I’m here to photograph your baby.  Newborn sessions are all about capturing how your little one is at this moment in time.   Interaction is encouraged! Yes! That means it is perfectly fine if parents get in the shot to have that moment frozen in time.
